Aidan's Top 10 Sing-Along Hits
Disappointed? No video tonight. We went to the pool at the Roanoke Country Club today with the neighbors. That sucked up most of the day. The picture on the right is not taken at the Roanoke Country Club. No...that is our crappy $20 wading pool that doubles as a mosquito breeding ground. The great thing about being three is that the backyard wading pool and the Country Club are equally fun.
If I'd had more time, I was going to catch Aidan on video singing. He has quite a repertoire. Here is a list of Aidan's Top 10 Sing-Along Hits (In order of popularity):

Past hits have included I've Been Workin' on the Railroad, Photograph by Nickelback, Billy Boy, Clementine, the Lollipop Song, the Bob the Builder Theme Song, the alphabet song, the Itsy Bitsy Spider, etc. Aidan loves to sing and listen to music so much that I keep thinking what a shame it is that we can't play piano together. Joel is too busy to pull out the guitar these days, although Marilyn will do that when she visits. While I'd love to get a piano so that Aidan could learn to play, where would we put it?

go to youtube and click on "cute". An adorable little 3 year old Asian girl is singing into the video and using a very expressive face and hand gestures.
Suggestion: Set up the camera on a tripod and use the remote if you can ever get him to sit still ;)
I was thinking about Aidan listening to Ridin' Dirty and then I decided that's not so bad, not when compared to Britney Spears' Sean Preston. Have you been keeping up on this? Sitting him on her lap while driving? Almost dropping him from her arms? Those I don't think are so bad; everyone's got some oops-Mommy moment. But changing his diaper on the Victoria's Secret floor? WHO DOES BRITNEY SPEARS THINK SHE IS?!
Aidan has had his head shaved practically bald by Auntie Marissa twice this summer. Joel and Marissa promised me that this would be the last time they would cut it so short.
As for Ridin' Dirty...it is not so much that Aidan hears it on the radio (although it happens). He hears Joel singing it while he is doing laundry or dishes. Joel likes to sing.
