Long Awaited Blog Update
Apologies to my fans. I've been too tired in the evenings to update my blog, but ever since the Grandparents came to visit, I have been feeling much better.
Please recall that the theme of my blog is supposed to be home renovation. The water supply lines have all been replaced. The drain lines are remaining because they are embedded in concrete. The Master Plumber reported that massive demolition and remodeling would be required to replace the drain lines. So there they stay. The Plaster Guy and his son glued and nailed drywall to the entire diningroom ceiling. Next, they applied plaster mixed with paint in a nondescript design. No seashells in concentric circles or cool designs like that. They are supposed to return to fill in the plaster between the walls and the ceiling. There is a gap there right now. Just a few minutes ago, I noticed that the seams of the drywall are showing through the plaster. Maybe I will discuss replastering the ceiling in a prettier design with the Plaster Guy. He mentioned before that we would have to paint over the design if we did it that way. It may be worth it.
Almost talked Joel into getting a new diningroom chandelier. No go. Joel (suprise, suprise) wants a new stove!! He specifically wants an electric stove. He hates gas. Joel has non-cooking related concerns about a gas stove, but he also thinks that electric stoves heat up food and water faster. This month, Joel is in charge of menu planning and cooking. Last night was Joel's debut as Family Chef. We ate tacos. Yum, yum! In exchange for cooking, I will be taking out the garbage and doing laundry.
It is now time for me to put Aidan to bed and shove a load of laundry in the washing machine. Good night!

Is Marrisa going to help Joel Cook, or is he on his own & for how many meals & how long? Is this some kind of new diet. We might have to come right back down & check this out.

What are the negative implications associated with using a gas stove? (other than the $$$)
