This is Daddy's return engagement as your favourite substitute blogger. Aidan has entered his fourth year on this earth. I want him to live untold more, but tonight I have some fear, though nothing imminent. In the continuing saga of the leaky ceiling, I went to Northwest Hardware here in Roanoke to get some advice on removing plaster from wood lathing. Not for the faint of heart, nor the under-equipped. So I think we'll farm this one out. In some ways, I would like to tackle it, but my fall classes loom large, and I must give them my undivided attention over the next three weeks.
