Pennies, Pennies Everywhere!

Marissa and I completed our penny project to the best of our abilities based on our penny stores. If you have any pennies from 1909 to 1955, let me know. If you have any particularly nice specimens from 1955 to now also let me know. Please note if your pennies have a "D" (made in denver), "S" (made in san fran) or nothing (made in Philly) under the date. Thank you!

hey, whenever you come to visit let me know and we'll schedule a visit to the Denver Mint so you can see where those D's are made.

You'd better schedule that tour quickly, before they vote to discontinue the penny!

There was all this hullabaloo that the penny costs more to make than it's worth. However, the $100 costs faaar less to make than it is worth, so perhaps it evens out.

I, for one, am IN FAVOR of the penny. Otherwise we'd have to buy collect calls in bulk!
