Toddler's Creed

Some mother out there posted this and I wanted to pass it on. It describes Aidan to a "T".

Toddler's Creed

If I want it, it's mine.
If I give it to you and change my mind later, it's mine.
If I can take it away from you, it's mine.
If I had it a little while ago, it's mine.
If we are building something together, all the pieces are mine.
If it looks just like mine, it's mine.
If it's mine, it will never belong to anyone else, no matter what.

I was hoping that providing Aidan with a little brother might help him appreciate the concept of sharing. As it turns out, having a little brother just means that Aidan spends most of his free time following Theo around and snatching toys out of poor little Theo's hands.
