Berry Rhubarb '03

I uncorked a new bottle of wine this evening after putting up with several hours of whine earlier in the day. You outdid yourself, Randy. This is even better than the Grape '03 you started with me during your visit.

Joel and I surveyed the backyard. We are mentally building Aidan and Theo a play area back there. Joel's goal is to reduce the overall vegetation residing in the yard. My goal is to get the boys outside more often. We recently went to a party where the parents fenced in the side of their house. They covered the ground with a foot of mulch. In went a kiddie basketball hoop, a tyke-size picnic bench and a pirate ship-style jungle gym. Voila! An adorable playground for their two small children. Too bad that our dream cannot be a reality by the time of Theo's birthday party....
