Kara's Birthday

Today was my birthday. Marissa and I finished stripping the medicine cabinet. Joel finished putting primer on the walls. I ripped up the linoleum. The tile guy comes tomorrow. Beautiful pictures of our amazing new bathroom soon!

After the World Cup, we all went swimming at the YMCA. When my card was swiped, Happy Birthday music played! Aidan is very close to swimming on his own. I think that he will be able to go to swimming classes (the kind without the parents) pretty soon.

Next, we went to the Olive Garden for dinner. Marissa found a coupon in this morning's paper--$4.00 off two entrees. A happy moment for Joel. Unfortunately, the Olive Garden out of my favorite dish, ravioli di portebello. Unfortunately, Theo is teething and was very fussy. Unfortunately, I misunderstood Joel and when he took fussy Theo for a walk, Marissa, Aidan and I ate ALL of the appetizers and Joel did not get as much as he hoped that he would. Dinner was a tad disappointing for everyone except for Aidan, who ate like a pig as usual.

We then went to Sonic for ice cream and to Kroger for last minute grocery shopping. Buy 1 pound, get 1 pound free boneless skinless chicken breasts. Another happy moment for Joel. After we got home, Joel took the ripped up linoleum to the garbage and we are now all settling in to bed. End of birthday 28. Not too exciting, but not too bad either.
