Job #3: Joel recruited me to teach a genetics class at JCHS in the Spring.

Because Joel is so proud of me, he will "consider" letting me renovate our master bath. Archie, the Master Plumber, and I discussed our upcoming plumbing overhaul project on Monday. He expects to rip up the ceiling of the kitchen bathroom to get at the old galvanized pipes feeding the 2nd floor master bath. While they have that ceiling open, I suggested that they move the lines around so that our shower, sink and toilet are no longer along the same wall. We need more counter space and a bigger mirror so that Joel and I can primp at the same time. Archie's renovation guy is coming over Friday to give us some ideas about how to improve the flow of the bathroom and to give us a quote. The Tile Guy may be making a return visit soon to discuss the more asthetic aspects of the renovation. Per his suggestion, I am thinking about going with a pre-fab shower pan for the floor. We'd put tile on the walls of the shower and on the floor. He would have nothing to do with the plumbing. I may have to teach several semesters at JCHS before all of this gets paid off....
